Technical programming has been a passion of mine for a long time. When that combined with my love of math and teaching, Angora Tutor has come to life. I have been tutoring for sometime and I decided to create this space to share my experience, provide resources for my students, and answer questions.

I call my tutoring session “Turning Theory into Code”, where we explore a subject using MATLAB. It has been a great experience to work on various technical fields, some of which I have never worked on, and turn that theory into code. So, if you have a homework problem that you are having problem turning into MATLAB code, please send me a note the using the Contact form. It may become the next “Turning Theory into Code” journey.

I love to learn. Sometimes I learn together with my students. We discover answers to questions together using various resources, OK mostly Google, since “Google knows everything” ;-). These sessions teach my students how to get to the resources they need, so that they can become independent and don’t have to call me other than to say “Hi”. Actually, that is my goal, to get my students independent technical programmers. An added benefit for me is that I learn something new.

During my tutoring session, sometimes I make mistakes (mostly intentionally but sometime not). These mistakes help my students to get a better understanding of why we program certain ways. Your Fantastic Elastic Brain learns from mistakes!

I would like to hear from you. Please use to contact form to submit lesson requests, questions, or any comment. I will try my best to reply all of them.

Keep Exploring!
